Notary Services

Members of the public require notarial services in a range of everyday situations, including immigration, marriage, overseas transactions, and trade, for example.

A Notary Public is an official of integrity appointed by government to serve the public as an impartial witness in performing a variety of official fraud-deterrent acts related to the signing of important documents.

A Notary Public certifies a legal document as being genuine/original, by authenticating the document with a signature or certifying or witnessing a person’s identity.

Notarization by Hong Kong Notary Public

A Notary Public is a member of the Hong Kong Society of Notaries and a public officer appointed by the High Court of Hong Kong.

Unlike other jurisdictions, Hong Kong residents do not have the option of signing documents online. In some cases, clients may have specific requirements, for example witnessing or certifying by Australian qualified solicitor or China Attestation by China Appointed Attesting Officer.
